Myth: Relaxation is a passive event.

Fact: Relaxation is an active event.

We have been misled to believe that to relax, all we need do is sit back and put the TV on. Or go lay around, or kick your feet up, or ‘just relax’ as some may say. There are known processes that will enable a person to properly relax at any moment. We simply need to learn how.

In this class, we will explore meditation for the westerner. We walk you through the five aspects of meditation. If you were born in the west, you are a westerner. Westerners need a different method of meditation to get our minds to calm and quiet. If you have tried meditation before and failed, or even if you are a frequent meditator you will take something away from this event. You will leave class with new tools that will allow you to relax in a whole new way.


This meditation class is experienced seated in a chair, feet in contact with the ground with upright posturing. 

Wear comfy clothing and layers. Bring a water bottle.
